There have been at least five times in my life where my lifestyle did lead to an ideal weight or weight loss at a rate that would lead to my ideal weight.
I’ll cover each in more detail in the future, but I thought I would list them for you to ponder:
1. Running and eating well. I ran half marathons in my mid-twenties regularly and ran at least five miles daily. This was after I had gained weight in my early twenties so it is probably not entirely do to young age metabolism. I ate healthy food in the morning, but any old kind of junk food the rest of the day.
2. The high fat experimental diet I mentioned in a prior post. It lead to rapid weight loss. I obviously don’t recommend that approach though. It apparently leads to poor overall health based on how I felt during that diet.
3. Methamphetamine addiction. This is obviously not recommended for obvious reasons.
4. The carbohydrate addicts diet. Basically this is two very controlled meals of 6 oz of meat along with a cup of low carbohydrate veggies (no carrots or potatoes) and one meal of anything you want as long as you eat it in less than an hour. I lost weight rapidly and felt fairly good on this diet. It is a hard lifestyle to maintain though.
5. Atkins style low carb dieting. I also lost weight and kept it off on this diet. It is also hard to maintain for many people. It also leads to bad breath and carb cravings for me.
I won’t count when I was a teenager of 6′5″ and 135 pounds and ate pounds of junk food every day and never exercised. I think that’s purely genetic and not reproducible.
I’ll get into the other things and what I learned from them in the future. There are a couple of experiments I want to do first.
I already started one experiment. I’ll report on the results in a couple of months. You’ll obviously see the results in weight loss if there are any on the way.
I’ll start another experiment in 6 days.
I’ll be out of town for the next few days celebrating my birth week. What? I have one of those kinds of lifestyles. I celebrate a birth week instead of a birth day. If you are interested in learning more about my financial success and how I can do such a thing, you can check out my other blog here:

Ever wonder why you could eat so much as a teenager and be lean? As a person ages, they lose lean mass (muscle) and exercise less. If you up these two to your teenage-levels, the condition is “reproducible”.
