Green Drinks

This week’s eating plan (started Sunday) is green drinks.

What is a green drink?

Take a bunch of any kind of lettuce greens (avoiding iceberg lettuce) and throw them in the food processor.  Add a small bunch of some kind of herb (mint, parsley, basil, etc).  Add a couple bananas or a large mango or a couple apples.  Berries are good too.

Add a cup of raw milk, yogurt made from raw milk, or water.

Add a three or four ice cubes.

Blend until a smoothy.

Drink in an frosted mug from the freezer.

I’m doing two or three of those a day.
