One interesting theory about weight gain is that those who are overweight are actually starving. Due to a lack of nutrients, their body goes into starvation mode and starts to store fat.
It’s as difficult to prove this theory as it is to prove or disprove the theory that poisons in our diet are being trapped by fat cells causing weight gain.
But, as with all eating plans, it is worth a tests. I’m currently on an all meat and eggs diet and having great success. But I change every week. Maybe next week will be a “high nutrient foods” eating plan.
Here are some high nutrient foods that I have found:
blueberries
salmon
broccoli
tomatoes
avocado
spinach
brussel sprouts
turkey
apples
kiwis
beans
oranges
walnuts
black grapes
garlic
strawberries
cabbage
All of the above foods have a high ratio of nutrients for every gram of carbohydrate, protein or fat.
Please feel free to comment if you know of some interesting high nutrient foods that aren’t listed above.
