Thanksgiving And Meat

This last week’s Thanksgiving trip to California came with it’s penalties as you can see in the measurements.

This week’s eating plan is all meat and eggs.  Minimal seasoning will be allowed (a tiny amount of tomato sauce, any amount of spices, salt, mustard, etc).

The vegetarian eating plan was obviously a bust.  I still don’t get that.  Every vegetarian I have ever known was overweight and unhealthy… and yet many, many people still swear by the vegan lifestyle.

I put it in there to get some data.  I got it.  It’s not good.  Moving along…

The opposite is obviously an all meat plan.  Although a true vegan lifestyle isn’t actually possible (B12 is a required nutrient that the body can’t make on it’s own… and has no plant source), a true meat diet is possible.  Eskimos survived just fine on nothing but meat for decades and perhaps hundreds or thousands of years.

There is a catch to that though.  You can’t cook the meat!

I’m not up for that.  I’ll take vitamin supplements instead during this week.
