Aloha,
I finished up with the raw vegan eating plan for a week. The weight loss was quite remarkable and I felt very good the entire week.
This week’s eating plan is meat and eggs only. I will be using seasonings, but 98% of what I’ll be eating this week will be meat and eggs.
This is a repeat eating plan that worked well the last time, but to see the results required a scale that showed body fat %. I don’t have one available here in Costa Rica, so we’ll just be monitoring weight and possibly blood pressure since I have an appointment to get blood and urine chemistry results this week.
The other reason for a meat only plan this week is that it is so diametrically opposite to last week’s plan. That has two major advantages:
1. I can make up for any nutrients I missed last week (if any other than B12).
2. It plays on the entire swap diet plan of constantly keeping your body adjusting so that it never gets used to a diet plan and weight loss never levels off.
We’ll see how it goes.

Good luck with your swap diet. A swap diet definitely keeps a diet plan from getting boring. You actually have something to look forward to each week.
This is a very interesting idea… I’ve never heard of nor would have thought to do a “swap” diet. As Helene said, it would ensure that a diet doesn’t become boring and give you something to look forward to each and every week. Best of luck, and be sure to keep us informed on how the meat and eggs go for the week.
